Convicted Killers have More Rights to Their Loved Ones than a Father to His Children

Mr Chief Justice of the Family Court! How come that a convicted killer like Simon Gittany, who had thrown his fiance off the balcony of their Sydney apartment, gets two days a week visitation rights with his current girlfriend*, yet I had not been allowed to see or even talk to my children for 8 months, then eventually, when I could, I was allowed to see them only under supervision for once a fortnight for two hours but still not allowed to even talk or exchange emails with them, then because of a curious technicality in the final judgment of one of your illustrious judges of the Family Court in Sydney, I have not seen or heard from my children for nearly 3 months now, even though, finally after 2 years in the courts and $300,000 of my life’s hard work, I am to have 3 hour weekly, now unsupervised, contact with them since this judgment was handed down 2 months ago.

The end result of your “all is normal” Family Court system in Australia is that, even though I have never been convicted of any crime, or even once abused my wife or children, I have only seen or heard from my dearly loved children to what amounts to no more than 3 full days over the last two years, yet a convicted killer gets to see his girlfriend twice a week and is presumably allowed to communicate with her via the phone, or email even more often!
